DogWatch Hidden Fences are lead-free and compliant with the Reduction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) Initiative - - a European-based initiative to reduce the amount of lead and other hazardous metals in consumer electronic products. DogWatch incorporates a new, higher efficiency 24 volt switching power supply. The power supply weighs only 4.8 oz and has a regulated 24-volt output that is not affected by fluctuations in line voltage. It has input and output protection that will automatically reset in case of short circuit, sudden surge, or power overload.
