There are several brands to choose from when considering a purchase of a pet containment system. Thank you for taking the time to research your choices and pursue the best product for your dog. We have been in business since 1996 and have tried and tested ALL brands in this industry. We know and understand our competition. DogWatch proves time and again to be the most consistent, reliable, and secure containment system available. Here at DogWatch of the Bay Area, we offer sales, installation, training and service of all DogWatch products in a timely, professional manner. We gladly provide product literature, contractors license information, letters of reference and 100-200 names of local clients.
We are a true family-owned and operated small business. Troy and Christine Dykes are the owners. Troy provides estimates and sales quotes, acts as lead installer, provides all aspects of training, and maintains our existing customer base of over 1900 families. Christine acts as trainer and office manager while also maintaining service in the field. Andrew Bahnsen (nephew) is an assistant installer/serviceman, and Nels Runsvick (Christine's dad) helps with service and training. We do not hire contract labor. Our territory is large; we cover from Sonoma county across to Contra Costa county and down to King City...easily considered the entire Bay Area. We are committed to great customer service, but we do not rely on service revenue. We prefer to install the DogWatch system with quality work and heavy-grade materials. For that reason, we do not claim to be price competitive with other companies, but we do guarantee that we are the best value. We do not like the "nickel and dime" approach to obtaining success. We've found that providing an exceptional product, installing it correctly, and making ourselves available for any follow-up service has led to many happy clients and safe, healthy dogs. Our business has grown every year as a result.
